Congratulations to Maggie Peters, the 2026 Al Ludwig Memorial Fund Scholarship recipient!
$10,000 AWARD
Maggie will receive $2,500 for her first year of college, renewable for up to three additional, consecutive years for a maximum award of $10,000.
2026 RAM PRIDE AWARD
Hunter Jackson - Ligonier Valley Middle School
The Ram Pride Award, formerly the Breniser Award, is presented to a Ligonier Valley Middle School student athlete who demonstrates sportsmanship, leadership, and courage and represents their school with the highest athletic and character credentials possible. The recipient is chosen by his or her coaches and teachers. The Al Ludwig Memorial Fund sponsors this $100 award in memory of Bruce Long, LVHS Class of 1973. Bruce was a founding member of the ALMF and recipient of the 1st Breniser Award in 1970.

TWO GREAT DAYS AT CHASING TROUT FLY FISHING CAMP!
The sun was shining and the fish were biting at the 2nd Annual Chasing Trout Fly Fishing Camp, May 18 & 19, 2024. The ALMF would like to thank Rich Evans and his incredible team of guides who gave their time and talents to this group of young anglers. Thank you to our event sponsors: Chris Sheedy, Fat Daddy's Place, Ligonier Outfitters, Jersey Mikes, and Sweetwood Cattle Company. Thank you to Bruce Nuss, who for the second year in a row, donated a custom fly rod which will be presented to the grand prize winner, Cole Martz. A huge thank you to an anonymous donor who gifted six fly rods to be given away at the event. A special thank you to Sage Storm, a participant last year and a guide this year. Sage tied and donated the flies that each participant received in a fly box. Sage exemplifies what this event and the Al Ludwig Memorial Fund are all about.
